its exciting to ride your bike after you get a new part or try something new with set up. its seems like you ride your bike faster or better than before. the first ride on the new equipment is always a good one. looking at the latest technology in the pro field, these new tufos are really getting popular. the Dugast tyres have been viewed in some cases as the most extreme choice for the very serious but if your wallet is hot and you prefer something a bit more manageable, i think these are the best option.

today i stopped into the shop and found that rachel was all smiles with not only new tufos but new bontrager xxx lite wheels as well. these wheels are really classy, not just the OCLV hoop but the carbon DT swiss hub is just plain hot! i have to say that carbon wheels for cross totally make the ride a bit more desirable when your in the red zone for 60 min.

i'm hoping that if i can get my new tires glued up tonight i can have one of those exciting rides tomorrow. maybe even have the excitement roll into sunday in monroe! off to gluing.
