Nys was once quoted as saying,
" Vervecken can never be counted out..."
He may not win as many as when he was younger, or more then twice a year now but he always shows up for the WK in form. With a heavy track predicted in hoogerhackelhidemyshorts he has as much of a chance to win as anyone
Franzoit? Are you serious? As much as I love the little Italian, he stands no chance. There is no way Boom will tank in his hometown. Old Man Vervecken looks like he's timing his form to perfection. If it is a heavy track, he must be considered a favorite. If it's dry, he's out.

pony - you are exactly right. always a threat and a great sportsman. wellens and vervecken are good friends and i think the rest of the heads of state think highly of the veteran. i just can't wait for worlds. i actually can't believe i blew my scheduling and will miss it! we should be there!
